Things to do at Grand Canyon West
Grand Canyon West, home of the glass Skywalk, sits on Hualapai tribal land and is run by the Hualapai Tribe, not the National Park Service โ a separate operation from the federal park's South Rim, with its own gate, tickets and rules.
It's roughly 120 miles (195 km) from the Strip, about 2 hours 15 minutes by car, with the final stretch on an unpaved road for some approach routes.
A 2026 Sunset Pass (entry after 3pm, Skywalk included) runs around $59; General Admission without the Skywalk is around $67; an All-Access Pass with Skywalk and shuttle is around $99, before tribal taxes and fees. Most Las Vegas visitors come on an organised full-day bus tour with transport included rather than driving themselves.
